Dear Bob,
The HIPAA Academy delivered the Certified HIPAA Security Specialist (CHSS) program to the Illinois Association of Public Health Administrators (IAPHA) on February 17-18, 2004. The training was comprehensive, fast paced and covered issues in detail that local public health departments need to address as to the HIPAA rules. The training included the HIPAA Academy's Seven Steps to HIPAA Security Compliance. We now have a terrific road-map to guide all our HIPAA Security projects and activities.
We would strongly recommend the HIPAA Academy's CHSS program and the Seven Steps methodology to all Public Health Administrators, County and State governments and others. The program was delivered at a reasonable cost and it was tailored to meet all our requirements. We are also looking forward to working with them on a policy template for our members.

I now have a much greater understanding of what is required and will be better able to direct our Security Officer and the team to make sure we are meeting the requirements of the rule. The written materials were clear and easy to follow. Ali is a skilled presenter and made some of his material (which is difficult to understand for a non IT person) bearable and comprehendible."
